Teriyaki chicken with Soba noodles!

Famous around the Kitami ( Eastern Hokkaido ) area is “Hiyashi Kashiwa” which is cold “soba” noodles paired with chicken marinated in sweet “Teriyaki” sauce.
I’m not from “Kitami” so I’m not sure this is the right way of eating, but order some rice on the side.
Here are some different ways of eating “Teishoku” set-meal:
1st. Eat the soba with the dipping sauce.
2nd. Eat the chicken topped on rice, then the soba.
3rd. Eat the chicken then soba.
4th. Eat the chicken with the soba.
This restaurant 風花亭 “Kazahanatei” is located around “Kitami” city and their set-menu is quite big. Just try your best!

北見地方の名物蕎麦と言われているのが「冷やしかしわ」。冷たいそばに、甘辛くテリヤキ風に味付けされた、鶏肉が乗っかってます。
自分は北見出身ではないので、正しい食べ方なのかどうかはわかりませんが、小ライスも頼んで、
1. まず冷たい盛りそばだけをつけ汁で食べる
2. 鶏肉だけをライスとともに、テリヤキチキン丼風に食べる
3. 鶏肉の味だけでそばを食べる
4. 鶏肉、そばをつけ汁で食べる
と一度の食事で4つの味を楽しんでます！ こちらのお蕎麦屋さんではポピュラーなメニューです。是非チャレンジしてみてください！
