I felt like stretching my legs so away I go to the rich hot springs near “Wakkanai”.
This hot spring came about following the prospecting of oil deposits in the area. The oil content of the water is said to be very good in treating atopic dermatitis that people from all over Japan visit it.
Upon entering the water you may feel like a food skewer in a fondue pot! And the salt content of the water will increase blood flow.
“Fureai” Center is quite accessible, good for a day trip. The restaurant here is famous for their thick cut “Jingisu-Kan” lamb BBQ.

Here you’ll be satisfied and smelling like oil and BBQ in no time!
